How to get there:

By Road:

From Faro airport follow the motorway signs (IP 1/A 22) to Lisbon/Portimao & Lagos. Follow the motorway to the Val do Bispo exit, junction 1. Then take the N125 to Luz. The journey time is about 1 hour.

By Train:

There is an excellent train service from Faro to Lagos. The timetable is available in English on www.cp.pt and the fare in 2004 was €6 one way. You can get from Faro airport to the station by taxi or bus and then from Lagos to Praia de Luz also by taxi. Both taxi journeys are about 10/15 mins.
